Secret Agent Society

The Secret Agent Society (SAS) Small Group Program is designed for children aged between 8 and 12 to help improve their social and emotional skills.

It was created by Australian clinical psychologist, Dr Renae Beaumont, and is designed to captivate kids while they learn new social emotional skills in a fun way.

The SAS Small Group Program teaches and rewards children for learning how to:

  • Recognise simple and complex emotions in themselves and others
  • Express their feelings in appropriate ways
  • Cope with feelings of anger and anxiety
  • Communicate and play with others
  • Cope with mistakes, transitions and challenges
  • Build and maintain friendships
  • Help solve social problems
  • Detect the different between accidents, jokes and nasty deeds
  • Manage bullying and teasing

Abacus are now pleased to be taking enrolments for the SAS Program. Our Psychologist and Program Supervisor, Lynette Cataldo is an accredited facilitator and will run the program over 9 weeks, with children and parents completing 2 hours per week (90 mins for children groups and 30 mins for parent groups) .

Dates are confirmed after expressions of interest have been received.
