Work begins on long-awaited purpose-built centre

5 April 2022

Abacus Learning Centre CEO, Taimi Clinch welcomed the Hon. Greg Hunt MP (virtually) and Liberal candidate for Flinders, Zoe McKenzie to help conduct the sod-turning ceremony and mark the commencement of construction for our new purpose-built $1.7 million dollar centre.

This immensely important project has been made possible by the Australian Government’s Community Development Grant of $1.2 million and the Victorian Department of Education providing a long-term lease for Abacus to remain at the Western Port Secondary College site.

We are now looking forward to working with the team from Ausco Modular to deliver the project and continue to meet the growing demand for our centre-based autism services.
