In the interests of staff, parent and most importantly, child health, the Abacus board has made a decision to close both centres in Hastings as of Friday 27 March, bringing the Holiday break for Abacus students forward one week.
This means the Abacus holiday break will now extend from Monday 30 March – Friday 3 April.
We will continue to monitor announcements and advice from both State and Federal Governments to inform a decision on how Abacus will deliver services following the holiday period.
We recognise the importance of an early intervention service such as ours providing continuity of support. As such, the Abacus management team is undertaking preparatory work to enable us to deliver an online service to existing clients via videoconferencing following the Holiday period, commencing Monday 6 April.
Unfortunately due to the closure of our centres, Abacus will be unable to accept new enrolments or conduct information sessions in Term 2. Should you wish to be placed on our Expression of Interest list, please email the centre and we will contact you as soon as we are able to re-commence providing our centre-based service.
Thank you for your understanding and we hope you all remain safe and healthy as we navigate this very challenging time together.
