On Monday 29 October, Federal Member for Flinders and Minister for Health, Greg Hunt MP, will embark on his third 500km Walk for Autism.
Greg will be visiting schools and local towns around the electorate to increase the awareness of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and help raise much needed funds for Abacus Learning Centre and the Light Up Autism Foundation.
Funds raised during the 2018 walk and donated to Abacus will go towards a purpose-built Centre. This will enable Abacus to expand and continue to provide vital early intervention therapy.
Greg invites anyone of all ages and abilities to walk with him and share his journey that will take 19 days and cover 500km.
The walk commences at Arthurs Seat and will finish on Friday 16 November with a Sausage Sizzle at Abacus.
To join the Walk for Autism please phone (03) 5977 9082 or send an email.
