Sustained Development

 

Each Abacus Thrive Together program can be tailored to the needs of the participating organisation. 

We currently recommend sessions be delivered over four semesters in a two-year period. This approach ensures the best support for educators and has a greater effect on student achievement.

• Practical Workshops: Group sessions focus on common behavioural challenges, drawing from Abacus’s expertise in trauma-informed practices. Topics include communication, emotional regulation and sensory sensitivities key areas highlighted in case studies from crisis to mainstream school success.
• Ongoing Resources: Educators receive tips, updates and shared success stories to reinforce learning. This aligns with Abacus’s commitment to empowering families and educators through continuous support.
